GOOSEBUMPS (JASON.L EDIT)

Jason.L has quickly become a CUFF regular as well as dropping some huge releases for us in 2019. His CNTRL 2020 journey begins with a mega edit of one his favourite urban tracks, Travis Scott’s ‘Goosebumps’ gets a tech house rework. Jason’s distinctive style is worked around the original elements perfectly, the drum grooves are snappy & the bassline punches making this a true club banger with it already gaining support from Amine Edge & DANCE and Mason Maynard.

SOMEONE ELSE EP

The summer is in full effect, CNTRL005 welcomes back Jason.L, he follows up his debut EP with ‘Someone Else’ with Delgado on remix duties.

Someone Else (Original Mix) Jason’s signature style is ever present throughout, The vocal pulls you in, the bassline is solid and the drum grooves are sharp and snappy. This is tech house that’s been made outside the box.

Someone Else (Delgado Remix) Then we have Delgado’s remix, the well respect producer puts more of a jackin twist on ‘Someone Else’. Great FX’s, lead vocal stabs and swing rich drums make this track a club room banger.

We’re well into 2019 and we’ve still got so much more to come stay tuned.

LOSE CONTROL EP

‘Lose Control (Original Mix)’ is a main room thumper, with a raw tech-house vibe. It features an amazing set of vocals, giving the track its own stand out edge perfect for banging packed out clubs and festivals. The second track ‘The Show (Original Mix)’ carries on that upbeat tech house vibe,. The percussion fits around an aggressive bassline which mould in with a groovy set of one shots and FX’s that’ll keep the vibe going perfectly on any dance floor at any time. Closing the EP we have ‘Like This (Original Mix)’, a track that holds its own with a consistent up tempo techy feel. The bouncy drum grooves and rolling bassline pack a punch where it matters, creating that magnetising dance floor effect.

HANDS ON ME

Stoke-on-Trent based DJ/Producer Jason.L delivers a mega tech house assault on his CNTRL debut titled ‘Hands On Me’. This track features a heavy hitting bassline backed up by groove rich percussion. An acidic breakdown with an ear catching female vocal adds another depth to the journey. Having already released on Amine Edge & Dance’s label ‘CUFF’ Jason now brings his distinctive sound to us, We are ecstatic to welcome him to the family and we can’t wait to see what he has in store for the future.

Hailing from South Africa Jason.L started DJ’ing at an early age, Learning how to chain his first singles together to keep people moving on the dance floor. Having a deep routed connection with music and a hunger for progression, He decided that he not only wanted to DJ but wanted to see people dance & groove to the sounds of his own productions; thus making the decision to focus on time in the studio and develop a signature sound.

When it comes to producing music, Jason.L is best known for releasing on Amine Edge & Dance’s label CUFF, And has had his music played across the world by artists such as Sirus Hood, Bruno Furlan and Shiba San.

Heavily influenced by Hip Hop, Tech House and Deep House, Jason cannot be limited to one specific sound, However a bass heavy and drum rich production runs through the core of his music. Consistently experimenting in the studio and searching for new sounds to make people dance, This is only the beginning for Jason.L he will be one to look out for in the near future.
