BLACKLIGHT EP
‘Blacklight (Original Mix)’ the title track sets the vibe from the off, a punchy kick drum, driving hats and groovy percussion sit alongside an infectious vocal loop which is backed up by a low driving bassline. All of this moulds it into a dancefloor banger that you can’t help but rave to. ‘Cluster (Original Mix)’ continues proceedings in a similar manner, crisp hats, punchy drums, swingy percussion blend with a thumping bassline and a trippy-leaning lead sound which help to give this track its own unique feel. Finally ’Mental State (Original Mix)’ rounds things off in a uptempo, harding hitting fashion. Aggressive sounding drums, raw basslines, and a burgeoning synth instantly demand your attention making it a true club weapon.

IN THIS HOUSE EP
CNTRL012 is the first release on the label from an international based artist, Plaztik a Mexican DJ and producer steps in for his CNTRL Records debut. The ‘In This House’ EP is a 2 track release which features two modern sounding club cuts. The lead track on this release ‘In This House (Original Mix)’ is an aggressive track throughout, the drum grooves are snappy and the bassline pumps. This is the bright modern day tech house sound that we’ve all become accustom too. The B-Side ‘Dance With Me (Original Mix)’ packs a catchy vocal hook, a chunky bassline & a more darker sounding vibe to ‘In This House’ but it still has enough punch for any peak time set and will inject endless energy into any dance floor. 2020 continues to be one of the strangest years in most peoples life times but hopefully these releases improve it.

BECAUSE OF YOU
CNTRL011 is the first on CNTRL Records in 2020 for the Jordan2 boys the pair set the standard last year with a strong run of EP’s and remixes and this time around they’ve served us up a single track release. Because Of You (Original Mix) keeps in tune with their signature sound, the rolling house cut has an emotional strong vocal and fast hitting percussion that merges with a low driving bassline to form a track that screams out peak time banger! 2020 hasn’t been the year we all hoped it would be but we won’t be beaten and we’ll emerge from this pandemic even stronger, there’s plenty more to come from us in the coming weeks and months, watch this space.

GET ON UP
CNTRL010 is our 2nd release this year continuing our strong start to 2020, Get On Up (Original Mix) is a CNTRL Records debut for Liverpool based DJ and producer ‘False Intentions’ the single track release is his first on the label and hopefully not his last. This production features an infectious vocal hook, rolling percussive elements and a strong punchy bassline which make it perfect for taking things up a level in a DJ set. ‘Get On Up’ is our first release during the Coronavirus pandemic and while the world has come to a stand still in these difficult times we won’t be beaten and let it stop us from releasing good quality House Music.
DELGADO
FALLING IN
CNTRL009 opens our release schedule for 2020 Falling In (Original Mix) is another single track release from Delgado. The Toolroom & Cr2 Records hotshot follows up his 2 successful releases with us in 2019 the Playing It EP & Disco Bussed, these productions gave us a serious taster of what he’s capable of in the studio and now he’s back with another. The track features a catchy vocal hook, punchy aggressive bassline & bumpy groove rich percussion that’s made for those peak time sets. ‘Falling In’ kick starts our 2020 release campaign of with a bang there’s plenty more plans in the works, it’s looking like another exciting year for CNTRL Records.
DELGADO
DISCO BUSSED
CNTRL008 comes in the form of a single track release from Delgado, this will be our last release of 2019 but we’re finishing off in style. Disco Bussed (Original Mix) packs a catchy vocal hook, a chunky rolling bassline & swing rich percussion elements which is to be expected from any Delgado production. This track is a true banger that will definitely inject endless energy into any dance floor at any moment. ‘Disco Bussed’ rounds of a successful year for CNTRL Records plans are already under way for next year, we’re looking forward to seeing what 2020 brings for us.

RAINY DAY EP
2019 is coming to a close, autumn has arrived and with that comes CNTRL 007. The ‘Rainy Day’ EP is the latest release from Jordan2, the rising stars have switched to more analog gear and produced two tech thumpers. ‘Rainy Day (Original Mix)' is one for a not so rainy day, The deep tech roller packs a thumping bassline and snappy drum grooves. The high energy feel makes this one suitable for a pumping dancefloor. The B side, ‘Funky Wednesday’s (Original Mix)' swings more to the minimal side the lads deliver a groovy vibe. The drums are solid, the percussion swings & the bassline is funky which makes this the perfect the track to build the listener up to what’s coming next.

WITH IT EP
As the summer comes to an end, CNTRL006 see’s Anonymous Contents follow up EP, Jordan² are on remix duties. Both artist’s are no strangers to working with each other, with a couple of projects already in the bag the ‘With it’ EP is the latest in an ever growing back catalogue. With It (Original Mix) is about six minutes and half minutes of rolling high energy Tech House with added swing, deep basslines and a powerful vocal hook. The record contains an electrifying drop with a Darius Syrossian influence. Jordan² Remix adds their unmistakable sound to the track adding a full power Deep Tech after hours bounce to the bass. Featuring a staggering synth led throughout the tracks and the breakdown with a clever twist put on the original vocal hook.

SOMEONE ELSE EP
The summer is in full effect, CNTRL005 welcomes back Jason.L, he follows up his debut EP with ‘Someone Else’ with Delgado on remix duties.
Someone Else (Original Mix) Jason’s signature style is ever present throughout, The vocal pulls you in, the bassline is solid and the drum grooves are sharp and snappy. This is tech house that’s been made outside the box.
Someone Else (Delgado Remix) Then we have Delgado’s remix, the well respect producer puts more of a jackin twist on ‘Someone Else’. Great FX’s, lead vocal stabs and swing rich drums make this track a club room banger.

PLAYING IT EP
CNTRL004 comes in the form of a 2 track EP from the well respected Delgado. He delivers ‘Playing it’, a chunky, bumpy, groovy affair filled with endless energy.
Playing it is a groove heavy track with a solid rolling bassline. A wicked vocal hook is a accompanied by aggressive lead sounds perfect for any moment on the dancefloor.
The b-side, Kookaa (Original Mix) an upbeat track featuring tribalistic chants, bongo drum grooves and a hard hitting bassline. A true banger that will get any crowd rockin.

CONTROL ME EP
Our bright start to 2019 continues for this new release from Jordan². They return to the CNTRL Records fold to bring us CNTRL003 ‘Control Me’, the rising stars have produced two tech house rollers. ‘Control Me (Original Mix)' is the name of the A side, It’s a pure tech house affair with strong character, driving basslines and snappy drum grooves. The clever use of vocals and FX’s give it its own unique feel.
The B side, 'What You Got (Original Mix)' is a track in which Jordan² mange to create a much steadier vibe. The drums are crisp, the bassline is solid it’s perfect for transitions periods on the dance floor making any crowd wonder what’s going be next.

DEAD HIPPIE EP
The ‘Dead Hippie EP’ features a stunning production from up and coming artist Anonymous Content, Stoke-on-Trent duo Jordan² are on remix duties. Both artist’s joined up with us when we launched way back in 2018. Dead Hippie (Original Mix) is an aggressive track throughout, the vocal is infectious, the drum swing is captivating and the bassline is tremendous. This is tech house that’s well designed for small dark rooms. Dead Hippie (Jordan² Remix) is more striped back with a tech house sound that drives with force. The bassline is raw the drum elements generate an energetic vibe. This version is perfect for a more progressive dance floor that’s for sure.

LOSE CONTROL EP
‘Lose Control (Original Mix)’ is a main room thumper, with a raw tech-house vibe. It features an amazing set of vocals, giving the track its own stand out edge perfect for banging packed out clubs and festivals. The second track ‘The Show (Original Mix)’ carries on that upbeat tech house vibe,. The percussion fits around an aggressive bassline which mould in with a groovy set of one shots and FX’s that’ll keep the vibe going perfectly on any dance floor at any time. Closing the EP we have ‘Like This (Original Mix)’, a track that holds its own with a consistent up tempo techy feel. The bouncy drum grooves and rolling bassline pack a punch where it matters, creating that magnetising dance floor effect.
